About the Job
We are currently hiring a reliable and bilingual (English and Spanish) Medical Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, with a focus on weekend availability. This is a great opportunity to work with a mission-driven healthcare practice that has been serving the community for over 20 years.
As a full-time Medical Assistant, you’ll support both clinical and administrative functions to help our practice run efficiently while providing compassionate, quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record patient information including vitals, weight, and medical history updates.
- Prepare and clean examination rooms between patients.
- Assist in basic patient exams and procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and support vaccine administration.
- Support front desk tasks such as answering phones, checking in patients, and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Help maintain inventory of medical supplies and alert management when reordering is needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar certification preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English – Required.
- Prior experience (1+ years preferred but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong sense of professionalism and reliability.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-Time.
- Schedule: Includes Saturdays and Sundays.
